This will blow your mind

When I walk, my left shoe makes a clicking noise which annoys my right shoe greatly. I really don't want to take sides. I don't want to have to choose between them. I love them both so much.

When I was 15 I spent about £100 on a pair of top of the range Nike Max running shoes. Unfortunately, the shop gave me a dud pair, whose air pockets had burst. This caused them to fill with water, which led to them sqeaking very loudly with every step. My parents refused to let me return them, which meant that I had to spend the next 7 months walking around school with noisy shoes. Yet another indignity.

Your right shoe is perfectly justified in retaliating for this atrocious assault on common decency, this act of pedal-terrorism. Your left shoe and the clicking noise constitute an axis of evil that must be stopped. Your right shoe has a right to defend itself. It will act to create a world free of clicking. Resolutions against your right shoe in the UN Security Council on Shoe Welfare will be vetoed by peace-loving nations everywhere.

you're right.. totally blew my mind. for a while i noticed a clicking when i walked, thought it was my shoe.. but figured out it was the crotch of my jeans.. somehow. it drove me insane. it only clicked during the summer.. like some kind of mating call - went completely unanswered of course. now it seems to have gone into hibernation.

Are we talking about your "world" shoes? If so you simply cannot choose just one part of the world!
